Turning 30 with a pop-up photo exhibition
This exhibition ran in February and March 2025 and has now finished. What follows is a record of it. Prints and download links are still available — just get in touch.
What
On 26 February 2025, I turned thirty. To celebrate, I put on my own photo exhibition: 30 photos I took between November 2022 and October 2024.
The photos were ‘for sale’, which meant that guests could acquire one. All the money went to the National MS Foundation. Instead of gifts, I encouraged guests to donate to the National MS Foundation.
Thanks to Fotolab Kiekie, all photos were printed in museum quality. Fotolab Kiekie helped make 3×30 work by providing tips and advice. Check them out online!
When
The exhibition was open on three days:
- Saturday 15 February 2025, 10:00-16:00
- Saturday 22 February 2025, 10:00-16:00
- Saturday 1 March 2025, 10:00-14:00
Where
The exhibition took place at Studio Wladiwostok (Bogortuin 16, 1019 PG Amsterdam). A few things that made it what it was:
- The studio had a small kitchenette where we served coffee and tea.
- The exhibition area was on a floor also used for Feldenkrais, Yoga, etc., so shoes came off at the door.
